Friday's Fabulous Vendors: Accucheck Home Inspection

    

    Bingham Realty Inc. is proud to announce that we will be spotlighting a different fabulous local business every Friday.  Our first vendor is Stephen Brown and his wonderful team at Accucheck Home Inspections.  

    Stephen has deep roots in Pasco county.  As a Zephyrhills High School student of 15 he met the love of his life Makenzie Brown (Makenzie is an awesome realtor for a company that shall not be named😜) and they have been together ever since.  After graduation, Stephen attended the University of Florida (Go Gators), graduating with a degree in Exercise Science and went on to get a Masters Degree in Sports Administration.  

    His love of sports and education led him to Alabama where he took a job as a Head Basketball coach and an Administrator.  As if both of those positions didn't keep him busy enough, Stephen began flipping houses on the side.  With a growing family the couple realized that they wanted to raise their boys closer to home so they packed up and moved back to Zephyrhills.

    In 2007 Stephen was approached by a friend of the family Patrick Graham, Patrick was retiring and thought that Stephen would be the perfect fit to buy his business Accucheck Home Inspection which he had began in 1995.  Stephen decided to take on the challenge of becoming an Entrepreneur and took the leap.   

    Shortly after purchasing Accucheck the Real Estate Market became very bleak.  As you may remember we were in a horrible recession and the housing bubble burst.  It wasn't what you would call an opportune time to start a new business that was based on home sales.  However, in typical Brown fashion what could have been a financial disaster was overcome with hard work, excellent customer service and an attention to detail that makes even the most particular client overwhelmingly satisfied.  

    In the past 13 years Stephen has grown the business by adding Angie Carter and Chuck Owens.  Angie does all the scheduling and keeps the office running smoothly, while Steven and Chuck are out in the field doing Inspections.  Accucheck services Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.  As a team they provide not just a through inspection, but are able to communicate effectively with clients and agents in a timely fashion.
